I’ve updated my setup for Automatically deploying a Hugo static website to S3 via sourcehut for 2026. In the years since I wrote the last post, submitter restrictions were added – they simplify the build files substantially.

The post is updated, since I don’t want anything outdated lying around.

I’ve been using this setup to deploy a handful of static sites and it’s been working great for me. I’m very thankful to Drew DeVault & co for running such a fine service.
